NodeSniff didn't start as a company. It started as a small side project after years of working with Linux servers, cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, and distributed systems.

Like many engineers, we kept coming back to the same problem: monitoring tools were either too limited or far more complex than the environments they were supposed to monitor. Installing an agent often meant deploying databases, configuring multiple services, or spending hours learning a new platform before seeing the first metric.

We wanted something different.

NodeSniff was designed to be lightweight, straightforward, and practical. Install the agent, connect it to the dashboard, and start monitoring within minutes. No unnecessary complexity. No features added just because competitors have them.

Built Around Real Infrastructure

NodeSniff is designed for the kind of infrastructure engineers actually manage today.

Whether it's a Raspberry Pi running in a workshop, a Linux server in the cloud, an industrial edge device, a drone, or a production application running across multiple machines, the goal stays the same: know what's happening without getting in your way.

The lightweight agent can even continue collecting data while offline and automatically synchronize everything once the connection is available again.

We're intentionally keeping NodeSniff focused.

Instead of trying to become another all-in-one observability platform, we add features only when they solve real operational problems. Every new capability is something we would actually use ourselves.

The project is evolving continuously, shaped by real deployments, practical experience, and feedback from the community.
